Artistic Flower Shoot – Part 2
In this second class, Karl illustrates a technique where you can multiple burst one speedlight into different areas within the same shot. This can be useful for achieving a creative effect that you’d usually need more speedlights for – it also means you can use just one speedlight for your whole shot if that’s all you have.
Karl explains what you need to consider when working with the longer exposure times and shows how to fire lights manually to highlight specific areas of the shot. Each shot is different and the final image is a comp of multiple shots – this creative technique is rather experimental and a lot of fun!
