This is the final experiment in the Artistic Flower Shoot series and for this technique Karl also uses a zoom lens to create halos of varying definition.

Karl runs through the lighting and the physics you need to know when using a longer exposure and shows how experimenting with different techniques to see what works takes time – but with perseverance you can achieve some amazing results.
