Macro Probe Lens Comparison
Photographer and filmmaker Karl Taylor puts two unusual macro probe lenses to the test—the AstrHori 28mm and the Laowa 24mm. With a series of creative experiments, he explores their strengths, weaknesses, and surprising results, giving you an inside look at how each performs in real-world scenarios.

That was really good. Thank you for the comparison. Last year I bought my first third party macro lens and it’s a Laowa and I love it. It was my first manual lens and for me, helped me understand things much better. I would love to play with this probe lens from them. Though I don’t believe they make it for my mount.
Anyway, thank you for these classes. My name is Ivy and I’m happy to be here.
PS: You did a lesson awhile back that I watched where the jean coat wasn’t straight which then made me notice the little coat not straight on a mini that I count to shoot. Your attention to detail as it has helped my attention to detail
Happy New Year to you and your team.
Cheers, Ivy
Thanks Ivy, glad you’re enjoying the platform.
I was hoping you could create product video tutorials on your platform and add them to the filmmaking section, as there aren’t any well-structured courses available online
