  1. Karl,
I have to apologize for the photo that I submitted. I totally misunderstood what you wanted. This was the first critique that I’ve ever entered. And I thought you wanted the photos unretouched. I read the description of the show and I should known better. I’ve since gone on to retouch the photo but I can’t recreate what I saw when I took the photo. To my eyes it was a beautiful scene when I took the picture and the reflections were beautiful but that didn’t come across in the photo. I’ll continue to work on it. I did learn something though.
    Thanks again.

    1. Thanks Gina, don’t worry there will be more critiques. In fact we are planning to do a ‘photoshop work critique’ soon too.

  2. I see you struggled with my name lol.. Don’t worry, everyone does!

Eoin = Owen, not E-iong! lol

Thanks for the tips on the photo I sent in (Panaranic – snowy mountain and reflections). They will definitely be taken on board for future shots!

    Cheers!

    1. Hi Rich, we usually send out an email to our members inviting them to submit images for critiques, this particular one is closed already for new submissions as we still have lots to get through in Part 2, but keep an eye on the live shows schedule for future ones.

  3. Thanks Karl for the nice show, and valuable feed back to all participants work
    certainly we will improve .
Also it is not possible for me to watch the show live because it is midnight in India, not an issue
I watch whenever I am free
    Thank again

  4. Wasn’t able to watch live, busy with work. thanks for the feed back- as soon as u cropped the beam i really see it improve a basic shot of the walkway and lagoon in a city.

  5. Thank you for very positive feedback Karl . Don`t worry about pronunciation of my name, it`s extremely difficult and I don`t blame you at all 🙂 Thank you again 🙂

  6. Thank you Karl for your comments. You were very close guessing the place, it’s actually Umbria (the two regions are bordering each other).

  7. Thank you very much for your critique Karl and for all the training that you provide very much appreciated
    Regards Chris Griffin

  8. Thank you Karl for your critique of my photo. I was not able to watch live to be able to thank you. I agree with your critique. It does need something else. These critiques are crucial for us all to improve our work and are greatly appreciated. I have not done much landscape in the last couple of years and that photo was a few years ago. That being said, I look forward to doing more this year and the knowledge provided by KTE gives me the confidence to up my level of landscape photography.
