Peter Lippmann: Turning the Ordinary Into the Extraordinary
Join us live with Peter Lippmann
Peter Lippmann joins me live on Visual Education on Tuesday 29th September September 2026 - 15:00 BST / 10:00 EDT.
During the interview, we’ll discuss Peter's approach to still life photography, lighting, composition, post-production and the creative process behind images that continue to hold your attention long after you first see them.
Members will be able to watch live, ask questions, or catch the replay afterwards.
I hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a rare and memorable conversation about photography, craft and the art of turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
"It will be an absolute pleasure and honour to welcome Peter Lippmann to my studio this September for what I expect to be one of the most memorable interviews we’ve hosted on Visual Education."
Peter, in my opinion, is one of the greatest photographers alive today, I have studied his work explicitly, scrutinised his style, lighting and post production for over a decade. His images have been an inspiration for me and countless other photographers who have been mesmerised by his innate ability to turn the mundane into the magical.
Peter’s work crosses genres and boundaries with an elegant finesse that, to me, defies the standard aesthetics expected in photographic images. His compositions often deliver bewildering complexity yet still manage to convey the message with intent and certainty, a skill that can not be underestimated. In my own work I have rarely found the key to unlocking such elaborate and intricate scenes and make them work with such fortitude.
This interview will provide photographers of all levels a unique insight into the mind of one the worlds premiere photographers and also provide you the opportunity to ask Peter questions live or in advance during the show which will be broadcast live on Visual Education and available on replay thereafter.
I hope you can join us on September 29th for what I expect to be one of the most memorable interviews I’ve conducted.
