The black pasta is made with squid ink. The ink stains everything it touches and is difficult to remove.
Ha my nightmare that would be!
When I lived close to the coast, we did a lot of squid fishing and would throw away the ink sacks when cleaning the squid that is if the squid didn’t get a chance to squirt you.
My apologies for the salt and pepper shot. I knew it was borderline. I am disabled and have been going through a difficult health recovery this year. I’ve only been able to take a dozen photos all year. So I have been relying on my archives for submissions and I didn’t have much food photography. But I’m really hoping to finish my recovery soon so I can participate more next year. Sounds like you have a lot of cool things planned.
Hi, no worries at all – there was nothing wrong with the shot it was rather good but just not on point enough. I hope all goes well with your recovery and best of luck for 2026.
