Supports/Paper for Watercolour

Surfaces for watercolour.
By their very nature watercolours are…. you guessed it.. wet! And that means we need to have a certain approach to how we lay them down on our paper or surface.

In some sense you need a surface that absorbs or the water will just spill around but in another you don’t want a surface that is too absorbent either or there will be no marks left to observe.

Tim guides you through the right supports and process for working with watercolours.
