Watercolour with a Single Colour

Watercolour with a Single Colour.
Following on from our monochromatic class with acrylics I think you can guess what this class holds. That’s right, we can also paint in one colour only with watercolours. Using only layering and density of the mix in combination with the white of the paper we can create beautiful scenes that need nothing more than just one pigment.

It’s a great way to learn how to understand and work with luminosity as the entire levels of light to shade are only built with one colour and that knowledge can be carried forward to help you in your more traditional multi pigment creations.
