Juxtaposing Colours

As you’ll have learnt from many of our photography classes and live shows, colour is an important part of photography. It can be used to guide the viewer’s eye, and create a certain mood in an image.

This week we’re challenging you to create images that make use of juxtaposing colours. You can photograph absolutely any subject, as long as there is a strong element of juxtaposition. A useful tool for this week is the colour calculator that you may have seen me use in the past.

Below are a few classes you may find informative as well as inspirational. You may also like to check out our blog post on juxtaposition.
