Photography Challenge - Week 24

10 June - 16 June

Are you looking for some photography ideas to test your skills and get your creativity flowing? We’ve got 52 weeks of photography challenges to help inspire you. You can view the full list of challenges here.

This week's challenge is...

As you’ll see in the variety of classes that cover how to photograph bottles, bottles are a great subject to photograph if you want to test your skills.

This week, why not experiment with different lighting techniques. Gradient lighting, backlighting, and rim lighting are just a few of the ways you’ll have seen us light bottles on the site. Why not try out each of these to see which works best for your subject.

The angle of view is another way you can get creative. Try changing your perspective to see what impact it has on the mood and feel of the shot. This is something that was discussed in the review of our second ‘Working to a brief’ challenge.

Condensation is another way you could add another creative element to your shot, along with props, accessories, and different background choices.

Below are a few classes you may find useful if you’re looking for some inspiration this week.
