In this project, I want you to see how much you can create from a very simple setup. Using little more than a pebble, a shallow tray of water, your camera and one light, we’ll explore reflections, movement, exposure and timing, then use those techniques to create a range of abstract images. The real aim isn’t to reproduce one of my photographs exactly. It’s to understand what’s happening well enough that you can start experimenting and creating your own results.

This project is all about taking your time to build an image that is inspired by the 'old masters' still life of the Renaissance period.
