hello, i don’t find the courses/lessons street and street 2.
Also, are there course about making these deep b&w street photos ?
Great video. That shot of the Eiffel Tower from the Avenue Rapp reminds me of Once Upon a Time in America.
Hi Karl, where would the focus point be located for the shot of the old lady crossing the street?
Hi I would probably have set it for the middle of the crossing if my depth of field was sufficient to ensure the scene and background was sharp enough.
Very nice
How you got the shot a old lady who freezes but cars motion blur
Hi Akansh, that is covered in the ‘Introduction Course’ in the ‘Essentials’ section. It is better for your learning if you watch the courses in order. Thanks Karl.
Hi Karl, I realize you turned the filter while photography the buildings after the lady. Why did you do that?
Hi Smokes, it was a polarising filter. Here’s a video about how they work and what they do – https://visualeducation.com/class/live-workshop-polarising-studio-light-and-why/
Whenever I’ve tried hand holding the camera at one tenth, I’ve ended up with, not just motion blur, but camera shake too. Maybe I’m just wobbly on my feet.
Lovely shot !
Fantastic capture Karl!! I love the action of the cars with the slow movement of the lady crossing the street. The tower in the background gives this image the cherry on top!
