Do I get access to all the content on the site? Or just the one class I’m interested in?
When you sign up to Visual Education, you get access to ALL the classes on our site, as well as live shows, member discounts, competitions, and more!
How do I access classes and live shows?
Once you’re a member of Visual Education, you can watch our classes and live shows anytime, anywhere in the world, as long as you have an adequate internet connection.
How long will I have access to the classes?
As a Monthly or Annual Plan subscriber, you will have access to all Visual Education content for as long you pay your monthly or annual subscription and are connected to the internet. Six-Month Plan subscribers enjoy access for six months. Lifetime Plan subscribers enjoy access for life.
How do I access my bonus content?
Certain classes have associated files or bonus content. To find these, go to ‘My Account’ at the top-right of the page and click ‘Downloads’ section. You may also be able to access bonus content via the the relevant class page.
What format are your classes presented in?
Our courses and live shows are available in Full HD streaming. You can view them on multiple devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.
How do I update my account information?
Log in, go to the ‘My Account’ menu at the top-right of the page, click ‘My Account’ and select the option you need.
How how do I buy a subscription as a gift for someone else?
To buy a gift subscription, simply sign up for a new account and enter the details of the person to whom you wish to give it. Enter their name and email information and create a password. The recipient can change their password later.
How do I buy or redeem a gift card?
To buy a gift card, please get in touch and we will email you some simple instructions. To redeem a gift card as a new member, choose your membership plan and enter the code when you’re checking out. To redeem a gift card as an existing member, log in, go to the ‘My Account’ menu at the top-right of the page, click ‘My Account’ and select ‘Redeem gift card’.
Why $19 per month?
That’s as low as we can go! We believe that our photography and visual arts education is the best in the industry. At $19/month, we also believe it offers the best value for money you’ll find anywhere on the web.
What membership plans do you offer?
We currently offer four membership plans: Monthly, Annual, Six-Month, and Lifetime. All plans include full access to ALL our classes, live workshops, competitions, discounts, and projects (including certification).
Monthly and Annual subscriptions involve recurring payments and automatic renewal. Six-Month and Lifetime subscriptions involve one-time payments. You can find out more about each of our plans at our Sign Up page.
How does the Lifetime Plan work?
Of all our plans, the Lifetime Plan offers the best value for money. It grants you lifetime access to Visual Education, plus bonus free gifts and the opportunity for a portfolio review. When Lifetime members feel they're ready, they can submit a portfolio of up to 10 images for review. Karl assesses these images personally, rating the skill and competence displayed in each before scoring the portfolio as a whole. Members who display a sufficiently high level of understanding and photographic skill will receive a printed Visual Education certificate. Do you offer certification?
Yes! You can get certified with LEVELS. Test and certify your knowledge with Karl’s expertly curated collection of classes and tests. It’s simple: watch the classes. Answer the questions. Finish a level to collect a certificate. Complete a course to earn a diploma. All at your own pace!
How often do you release new content?
We release new content regularly, aiming to produce one new class and at least two live shows every month.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Simply Log in, go to the ‘My Account’ menu at the top-right of the page, click ‘My Account’ and select 'Upgrade plan'. When you upgrade, any credit from your current plan will be deducted from the cost of your new plan. You will receive an email confirming your upgrade.
I signed up for (or upgraded to) an Annual Plan or Lifetime Plan. When will I receive my gifts?
We aim to dispatch your gifts to your billing address within 21 days of your sign-up or upgrade. Global supply-chain issues mean we have experienced difficulties in sourcing lens pouches, camera straps and colour checkers. If you have not yet received your gift/s, please be assured we will dispatch them as soon as we are able to do so. If you have any concerns, please feel free to get in touch.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods through our secure online checkout:
1) Debit card or credit card
For security reasons, we cannot accept payment by telephone, email or mail. Subscriptions are charged in USD or GBP.
What languages are classes available in?
Our classes are currently available in English only. The majority of our classes now have subtitles in English, Arabic, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish. We add subtitles to live-show replays as soon as we can. We will consider adding other languages for subtitles if there is sufficient demand, so please get in touch to let us know which language you are looking for.
Can I download Visual Education videos?
You are not entitled to download, copy, distribute or share any Visual Education video content. Your agreement with us is for streaming access only.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes! Simply log in, go to the ‘My Account’ menu at the top-right of the page, click ‘My Account’ and select ‘Pause’.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes! Simply log in, go to the ‘My Account’ menu at the top-right of the page, click ‘My Account’ and select ‘Cancel’.
I have a question about one of the classes. Where can I ask it?
