Image Review and Lightroom Adjustments
Take a closer look at all the portraits from this natural-light course.
Karl takes a more in-depth look at some of the shots that he took throughout the course and how and why some of the shots work so well straight from Camera. In this final chapter Karl also explains some of the minimal adjustments that could be done in Lightroom to enhance the photos even more.

Hi Karl
your courses are a revelation, they really are so inspiring.Im hooked,I had my first shoot today [an environmental portrait] after a break from photography and your coarses helped enormously so a big thank you for that.
I usually shoot f4 on a 200 mm lens on my Nikon d3s on servo and get around 60% in focus,I also find a 35mm 1.4 nice to use for this type of photography.
Looking at a Z8 to help with the focusing.
Thanks again.
Hi, thank you very much for this positive feedback that’s great to hear. Yes servo focus on some of the older cameras is a bit hit and miss, I had similar issues on my older Canon stuff I understand that the latest kit is much more accurate with eye tracking etc, that’s certainly the case on the lastest Sony A cameras that I’ve used, I’ve heard the Z8 has excellent focusing capabilities.
