Thanks for another great learning show.

FDL Focused Defused Light, not that I care much, just enough to understand what was it about, and I am sure you don’t at all, but seems to be another one from people, here in the US mostly, trying to put acronyms to old things to make it look new and more marketable.

    oh light meters! how useless🤣🤣

Please don’t fire Amber!! she seems very helpful from my side…🤣🤣

    1. Hi thank you for the info, yes I also looked it up after the show and it does seems to be just using a spot light such as a large fresnel and illuminating a blob and then another blob and another blob and combining them all together. The words focused diffused light don’t make any sense in a physics sense though as light is either focused or diffused it can’t be both in its origin. I think they’ve simply mistaken the fact that the edges of the beam of light on a fresnel spot are soft and not a sharp edge, but soft and diffused are different things when it comes to lighting. I wouldn’t fire Amber of course but i was making an inside joke as sadly she’s actually leaving soon!

Couldn’t agree more, physics was one of my favorite subjects in high school (long gone are those days) but lighting is refreshing the concepts.

I knew it was a joke however, knowing now that she is leaving I share the sadness, please express her my best regards and good luck in whatever new endeavor she is embarking on.
