   hi, why we need to use this filter when we can have same effect if we use slower shutter speed? thanks

      Hi Peter, depending on the amount of light, usually in the daytime/middle of the day, it would be impossible to achieve such a slow shutter speed without the filter. For example if you tried to achieve 1 min shutter speed at the lowest ISO and the smallest aperture at 1pm then there would be too much light to allow you to do it. These type of filters allow you to do it.
