‘Beauty’ Competition Winners
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so they say. And as with all our competitions, you were free to interpret the theme however you wanted. That's what made judging our 'Beauty' competition so interesting, challenging – and fun!
There were many strong contenders to choose from, and selecting a winner wasn't easy. After much debate, we settled on our three prizewinners, plus three honourable mentions.

Winner Alexander Kaiser will receive a Manfrotto 058B Triaut Camera Tripod.
Runner-up Cang Diep will receive a Manfrotto Collapsible Reflector 1.2m Sunfire/Silver.
Coming in third, Leandro Silva will receive a Manfrotto Backlite Stand.

Alexander Kaiser
Alexander’s winning interpretation of the ‘Beauty’ theme tells a compelling and emotive story. More than simply a beautifully lit portrait, this image raises interesting questions about traditional conventions of beauty and aging.
2nd Prize
Cang Diep
With its crisp lighting, elaborate makeup and strong shadows, this is a classic beauty shot, executed to an exceptionally high standard.
3rd Prize
Leandro Silva
This gorgeous photo radiates natural beauty, achieving an aura of simplicity that conceals the precision and expertise required to capture it.
Highly Commended
These images didn't quite make it into our top three, but certainly deserve an honourable mention.
